Our Story

The history of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church began officially in April of 1992. And through 30 years of God's grace, the growing group of believers at Christ Our Savior has flourished in this community on the basis of these Biblical principles:

We Are…

a Biblical church who hold God's Word revealed to us in the Holy Scriptures as first place in our faith and lives. We base our understanding of the Bible on what God says - no additions, no subtractions. (Deut. 4:2)

We Are...

a Christian church that gathers to praise God (Psalm 35:18), to be strengthened by his Word and sacraments (Psalm 46:1), and to encourage one another in our lives of faith (1 Thess. 5:11).

We Are…

a Lutheran church, joining in fellowship with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). We share the mission statement of our synod:

As men, women, and children united in faith and worship by the Word of God, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod exists to make disciples throughout the world for time and for eternity, using the gospel in word and sacrament to win the lost for Christ and to nurture believers for lives of Christian service, all to the glory of God.
